When Inland Living Magazine showed up at our MOPS meeting last month to take photos for an article my first thoughts were Crap, I didn't have time to straighten my hair this morning! Then when the guy started taking pictures I found myself doing that fake audience smile just in case I was in a shot. Then, as usual, Zach got booted out of the nursery for being a giant cryer and since it was a "moms" group and only a few kids were in there I guess the guy thought it would be a good idea to get a shot of him so he planted himself behind me for a few minutes. When Zach stood up in my lap the guy started clicking away and I knew we were in! Thank goodness it's only a back view of me! I wish he didn't have his ni-nee in his mouth but oh well. The guy took down our names but they arnt in the article. If anyone has any extra copies lying around, I'd love to track some more down for our moms and grandmas! Here are some large versions if you want to see em:

There were so many great moments and awesome pictures it was hard to pick just a few to blog..jpg)

Yes, I know it is odd to commemorate a trip to the bathroom on your blog but I have to tell you how awesome these Potty Toppers are. I dont know how you mom's of girls put up with all trips to public bathrooms without a "stander". Whenever I hear those dreaded words: "Mommy I need go poopoo a potty!" I cringe at the thought of his little hands clenching the sides and underneath surface of those nasty public toilet seats. Yuck. So I highly recommend this item, it has a waterproof plastic underside that grips the seat and little sticky "panty liner" tabs in case you have squirmer. I keep them in a outer pouch on our stroller so I can grab and run (I've learned from experience that I dont want to take the time to pull them out of the storage area)
Zachy woke up with crazy hair the other day and kept making crazy faces while i tried to take a picture of it.
Nate got this tool set for x-mas but I hid it until now so he was super excited to open it. My theory is: if it makes it home in the box then we hide it to open later!
The boys got new matchy sandles for summer - I love velcro sandels.
This was Grace's B-day at the Sawdust Factory. It was SO CUTE! The kids got to paint a doghouse any way they wanted then pick out a doggy and name it.
Nate named his dog Spot-tees and slept with it last night!
Nate and his bros, Hunter and Seth doing a little line hugging.
Our Mops table had a hangout at Victoria Gardens to play in the water fountain. It was a really nice day and the kids had lots of fun. Nate loves playing in water and I like not having to worry about floaties and drowning so in my opinion, fountains rule! .jpg)
