Oh say can you see?

On the 4th we went swimming in our favorite pool: Nana's pool! It was a lovely 93 degrees. Nate had a lot of fun "Boogie-ing" and "Surfing" with Ryan while Zach and I stayed in the shade. Zach and his cousin Chase had cute matching t-shirts.

When it finally got a little dark we illegally lit a few sparklers much to the delight of all the kids!

Zoomour = zoo humour

Last week we went down to the big zoo with the Reynolds.
Check out this awesome view we had from the bus of the polar bear eating some carrots. It felt like all day we got special close-up great views of the different animals.

Ethan, Kenna and Nate spent some time in the petting zoo. Nate liked to feed the sheep by throwing all the hay on their backs.

Here's a few zoo facts for you: Hyenas are the only mammal that can digest bones, bear-cats smell like hot butter popcorn, pigs don't have sweat glands and panda bears like it quiet.

We didn't try for a nap at the zoo so Nate was ready to conk out once we started getting in the car he got his ni-nee and blanket and put the blanket over his head before he even got in his chair.

1 Month Portrait

Ok I'm a couple weeks late for his 1 month, but I figure as long as he's not 2 months old this still counts as a 1 monther. :)

Last week I signed Zach up to get a welcome letter from the President and today it came! Ok so it's not personally signed by George and Laura but it's a cool thing to put on his calender, the seal looks all official and everything.

Disneyland

Being a super momma, I took the boys to Disneyland without Ryan - ok my parents and the Reynolds were actually with me to help. This was Zach's first time there. We rode the Monorail which Nate loved, Alice, Peter and watched the firework show. Nana and Papa got Nate a pirate hat so he could be like Seth!

Zachary's Dedication

On Father's Day we had Zach dedicated at the Flipside. Kevin read a blessing over him from Numbers and prayed for him. Zach's Godly Characteristic is: Remembered of God
and the verse that goes along with it is: I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation. Psalm 118:21

Kitty Love

Who doesn't love kitties? Here are the newest "temporary"members of the Reynolds fam:

Kenna has picked out the kitten she is keeping (the one with the most white on it's body) and named it Aurora and they are calling it Rory for short.
Nate loved the kitties and even Zach got in on the action



















Here is Zach with his cousin Chase. They are 7 months apart and destined to be best buddies :)

Horse-in around

Saturday we celebrated Ryan's Grandpa Corky's B-day with dinner at Felipee's in Norco (the town they live in). Nate was stoked to see all horses that live next to them and the girls brought carrots to feed them.
